DETAILS OF THE WORK AND THE ARTIST:
- Sculptures brought from Havana, Cuba, by ship
- Don Guillermo Vera, during his trips to Cuba in the 1920s and 1930s, brought the pair of “negritos,” Cuban sculptures of the period, transporting them by ship since at that time there were still no commercial airplanes available for travel to Mexico
- Author: Cuban sculptor of the period
- Material: Plaster
- They were first placed in the city of León, Guanajuato, in the lobby of the famous and historic Hotel Guerra, later known as Hotel México, and currently the Casa de la Cultura Diego Rivera
